Introduction

After the existence of video games in our daily life for more than forty years; video games are taking the scholarly attention. In out temporary cultural history; video games hold a strong part. Firstly; a video game is an electronic game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. There are many electronic systems which are used for playing games, also known as platforms, such as personal computers, small handheld devices, consoles including Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. If we look at a brief history of video games; we see that video games introduced into sector as a form of arcade game in the early 1970s and then different forms of video games also emerged into public. With the development of video games industry also new gaming platforms are introduced for the choice of public. Video game consoles are starting from Magnavox Odyssey as the first generation of video game console, continuing with Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) as fourth generation and nowadays living with Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii as seventh generation. Also media used for data is transformed with the development such as starting from game cartridges, cards, tape drives, floppy disks, compact discs, and nowadays a recently growing technology Blu-Ray discs.
